The cable car, the monastery, and Khndzoresk in the afternoon. North to Vayots Dzor.
The red gorge, a cellar, and Ararat from the plain before returning to Yerevan.
Sevanavank, the tunnel into the forest, Haghartsin and old Dilijan.
Sanahin and Haghpat, Odzun, then the border at Sadakhlo and on to Tbilisi. The crossing usually takes under an hour.
The old town, the sulphur baths of Abanotubani, Narikala fortress by cable car, Sioni and Anchiskhati, and the Chreli-Abano quarter. Evening free.
Jvari and Svetitskhoveli at Mtskheta, both UNESCO-listed, then east into the wine country: Signagi on its hilltop, Bodbe, and a qvevri producer.
Two more cellars, Tsinandali and its garden, and a supra — the Georgian feast, with a tamada running the toasts.
North to Kazbegi: Ananuri fortress on the reservoir, the Jvari pass at 2,379 metres, and Gergeti Trinity Church at 2,170 with Kazbek behind it.
Down the highway with stops, and a transfer to Tbilisi airport. We can also return you to Yerevan by road if you are flying from there.
