Template — needs a lawyerThis page is a working draft supplied with the website. Before publishing, have it reviewed against Armenian tour operator law and the consumer protection rules of the markets you sell into — the EU Package Travel Directive in particular, which applies to most European customers.

1. Who we are
Orient Tour Armenia, registered in the Republic of Armenia. Registered office: Львовян 28, Ереван, Армения.
2. Booking and confirmation
A booking exists once we have confirmed it to you in writing. For day tours no prepayment is required; you pay your guide on the day. For multi-day journeys a deposit of 20% confirms the booking and the balance falls due on arrival in Yerevan.
3. Prices
Prices are quoted per person unless stated otherwise and are based on the group size and accommodation described. We will not increase a price after a booking is confirmed except where a government charge changes, and in that case you may cancel without penalty.
4. Cancellation by you
Day tours: free cancellation up to 24 hours before departure. Later than that, or non-arrival, is charged in full.
Multi-day journeys: free up to 14 days before departure, after which the deposit is retained. Within 7 days, 50% of the total is payable; within 48 hours, the full amount.
5. Cancellation or change by us
We may change an itinerary for weather, road closures, site closures or safety. We will always tell you as soon as we know and offer a comparable alternative. If we cancel entirely you may take a full refund or an alternative date, whichever you prefer.
6. Your responsibilities
You are responsible for holding a valid passport and any visa required for your nationality, for arriving at the agreed time and place, and for telling us in advance about medical conditions, dietary requirements or mobility needs that affect your participation.
7. Insurance
Travel insurance is not included and we strongly recommend it. For hiking itineraries your policy must cover trekking to 4,000 metres.
8. Liability
We accept responsibility for the services we provide directly. We are not liable for losses arising from events outside our reasonable control, including weather, natural events, border closures, industrial action or the acts of third-party suppliers where we have selected them with due care.
9. Complaints
Tell your guide at the time if something is wrong — most things can be fixed on the spot. If not, write to info@orienttour.am within 28 days of your return and we will respond within 14 days.
10. Governing law
These terms are governed by the law of the Republic of Armenia. Nothing here removes statutory rights you hold under the consumer law of your country of residence.
